It all began in 1976, in Rua Costa Cabral, where Siluz’s head office was located for 20 years. In view of the company’s galloping evolution, and the fact that it is already recognised as one of the best distributors in the electrical equipment and lighting sector, Siluz moved its headquarters to a new building
After 2 years of market prospecting to assess the opportunities in the Angolan market for the electrical materials and lighting sector, Siluz – Angolan Distributor of Electrical Materials and Lighting, began its activity in 2004, initially with a commercial unit in Largo do Kinaxixi in Luanda (current headquarters), followed by a warehouse, now our Logistics and Distribution Center in Mulemba (Cacuaco).
In 2006, the implementation of the expansion strategy in the Angolan Provinces began, and in 2008 we inaugurated two new stores, one in Viana and another in S. Paulo (Luanda). In the following years, a series of investments focused on opening new units allowed us to consolidate the current 8 stores located at strategic points in the country to meet the identified needs.
In 2024, a new vision and strategy emerged, along with a new institutional image, allowing us to reposition the product categories we market, namely: Electrical Materials, Lighting, Wires & Cables, Solar Energy, Industrial Automation, and Siluz Tec – Electrified Panels and Industrial Solutions.
We will continue to be attentive to meet the needs of the market and our customers.
Siluz – Mozambican Distributor of Electrical Materials, Ltd. was established in 2011 with the aim of offering the Mozambican market a range of high-quality, certified materials at the best price.
The vision is to establish the company within the Mozambican context as a prestigious and high-quality company among all internal and external partners who interact with the company.
Within each category of electrical materials, lighting, air conditioning, small appliances, and machines & tools, Siluz Mozambique offers a wide range of products, thus creating a broad and comprehensive offering, always with the goal of satisfying our customers and the market in general.
