Database

Electro Siluz, S.A. is a distribution company that sells (imports and exports) electrical goods, lighting and household appliances. We are currently distributors of the best national brands and exclusive representatives in Portugal, Spain and the Palop’s of some of the main European brands of articles for electrical installations for residential, tertiary and industrial use.

We therefore have a database organised by category which includes suppliers, clients, stakeholders and candidates for recruitment and selection processes.

Data collection

As such, we have several data collection points. The first is a direct request (via telephone, email, social media or in person) for information from interested parties (suppliers, clients, stakeholders, job candidates, whether they are companies or individuals), always respecting the principle of data minimisation. We also have a contact form and a job application form on our website, the contact details of which are sent to the Human Resources Department.

We are registered and have access to the GOOGLE ANALYTICS platform, a free service provided by GOOGLE, which, being associated with our website, allows us to access visitor statistics, as well as being used in marketing campaigns and publicising products and services provided by our company.

Considering that the provision of contact information is optional, we use this platform to build a database. We are also registered on the social networks Facebook, Instagram, Youtube, LinkedIn and Twitter, using them to collect data, mainly when users express interest in our products through messages, comments, shares, likes, among others. Finally, we can obtain data through recommendations from our suppliers, customers and other stakeholders.

Data storage

The information thus collected is stored in databases organized by categories. Therefore, when necessary for the development of our commercial relationships, and in an adjusted and measured way, we consult the database in order to get in touch with them, using the contact details previously obtained for this purpose.

If you wish to have your data deleted after the purpose for which you provided it, please contact us. Otherwise, they will remain in our database indefinitely.

Cookies

In the case of projects, initiatives, campaigns or others, carried out in co-organization with other entities, only the data necessary for this purpose will be shared with the partner entities.

Our website has a Security Certificate, “Let’s Encrypt Authority X3”, to guarantee the security of the data provided through it.

Additionally, Electro Siluz, S.A., undertakes to apply organizational and/or corrective measures, in order to guarantee the principles of privacy and data protection, namely replacing the name with a mechanographic number and/or code (e.g. number customer code, supplier code, etc.) in documentation in which the explanation of personal data is not necessary.
